|

EDIT: Aperto baco:
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98100
http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4866
Non riesco ad utilizzare il modulo ehci_usb su un amd64 socket 939 - scheda madre ga-k8nf-9 (Gigabyte).
Questo è l'output di /var/log/kernel/current:
| Code: | Jul 6 07:27:01 [kernel] usb 1-6: USB disconnect, address 6
Jul 6 07:27:10 [kernel] ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.0: remove, state 1
Jul 6 07:27:10 [kernel] ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.0: USB bus 1 deregistered
Jul 6 07:27:14 [kernel] ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:02.1[B] -> Link [APCL] -> GSI 21 (level, low) -> IRQ 193
Jul 6 07:27:14 [kernel] ehci_hcd 0000:00:02.1: new USB bus registered, assigned bus number 1
Jul 6 07:27:14 [kernel] hub 1-0:1.0: USB hub found
Jul 6 07:27:34 [kernel] usb 1-6: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 2
Jul 6 07:27:39 [kernel] usb 1-6: unable to read config index 0 descriptor/all
Jul 6 07:27:39 [kernel] usb 1-6: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 3
Jul 6 07:27:45 [kernel] usb 1-6: unable to read config index 0 descriptor/start
Jul 6 07:27:45 [kernel] usb 1-6: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 4
Jul 6 07:27:50 [kernel] usb 1-6: device descriptor read/all, error -110
Jul 6 07:27:50 [kernel] usb 1-6: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 5
Jul 6 07:27:55 [kernel] usb 1-6: device descriptor read/8, error -110
Jul 6 07:28:00 [kernel] usb 1-6: unable to read config index 0 descriptor/start

Se tolgo il modulo ehci e inserisco ohci_hcd, tutto funziona:
| Code: | Jul 6 07:30:16 [kernel] ehci_hcd 0000:00:02.1: remove, state 1
Jul 6 07:30:16 [kernel] ehci_hcd 0000:00:02.1: USB bus 1 deregistered
Jul 6 07:30:22 [kernel] ohci_hcd: 2004 Nov 08 USB 1.1 'Open' Host Controller (OHCI) Driver (PCI)
Jul 6 07:30:22 [kernel] ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:02.0[A] -> Link [APCF] -> GSI 22 (level, low) -> IRQ 185
Jul 6 07:30:22 [kernel] ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.0: new USB bus registered, assigned bus number 1
Jul 6 07:30:22 [kernel] hub 1-0:1.0: USB hub found
Jul 6 07:30:23 [kernel] usb 1-6: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 2
Jul 6 07:30:23 [kernel] scsi5 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
Jul 6 07:30:23 [kernel] usb-storage: device found at 2
Jul 6 07:30:28 [kernel] Vendor: USB 2.0 Model: CF CARD CF Rev: 1.6E
Jul 6 07:30:28 [kernel] Attached scsi removable disk sda at scsi5, channel 0, id 0, lun 0
Jul 6 07:30:28 [kernel] usb-storage: device scan complete

Sull'installazione parallela a 32 bit, però, lo stesso dispositivo funziona anche con il modulo ehci:
| Code: |
usb 1-6: USB disconnect, address 2
usb 1-6: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 3
scsi1 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
usb-storage: device found at 3
usb-storage: waiting for device to settle before scanning
Vendor: USB 2.0 Model: CF CARD CF Rev: 1.6E
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 00
Attached scsi removable disk sda at scsi1, channel 0, id 0, lun 0
usb-storage: device scan complete

Da cosa può dipendere questo fenomeno? _________________ vu vu vu

_________________ vu vu vu
