sending SMS via ICQ

I am looking for tools to send GSM SMS messages to the cell phones at Taiwan. In Taiwan, user can use ICQ client on Windows to send SMS
to the local cell phones unlimitedly. I am thinking if there's any tool or utility that can achieve the same goal or pretend as it is sending SMS via ICQ.

I tried linuxsms in gentoo portage, but seems none of the servers in its list
(linuxsms -server) support the sms delivery to Taiwan.

Any ideas highly appreciated. :roll:

ickle (a gtk+ 1 icq client) can do sms thru icq. well, at least it works on australian mobile networks. not sure about taiwanese ones, but it uses the same mechanism as icq's official client afaik.

It will be great if there is any command line tool to send SMS via ICQ,
so I can write scripts to make life easier :wink:

I'll be appreciated if someone has relative experiences.

Licq also can send SMS messages over ICQ.

licq has any sms limit? like 30 per month, or so? dunno.

only the limit that normal icq has... which is unlimited
