|
|
Got the following error once I startx:
Code: | (II) LoadModule: "keyboard"
(II) Loading /usr/lib/modules/input/keyboard_drv.so
(EE) LoadModule: Module keyboard does not have a keyboardModuleData data object.
(II) UnloadModule: "keyboard"
(II) Unloading /usr/lib/modules/input/keyboard_drv.so
(EE) Failed to load module "keyboard" (invalid module, 0)
|
Here the keyboard section in xorg.conf:
Code: | Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Keyboard0"
Driver "keyboard"
Option "XkbRules" "sun"
Option "XkbModel" "type5"
Option "XkbLayout" "us"
EndSection |
Even with the error, my keyboard seems work well under X. I am using a Ultra5/10.
Thanks,

With kernel 2.4.xx, what you are seeing is normal and expected (although alarming). It should work fine, as you say it is. Look up a few posts to https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-324865.html for details.
