|
|
After a fresh install from stage 3, typing emerge -up gcc
the system offers to install gcc-3.2.1-r6 but when I look
in /usr/portage/sys-devel/gcc there are also gcc-3.2.1-r7
and gcc-3.2.2 versions. I heard that gcc.3.2.1 had problems
so after I install gcc-3.2.2 via emerge -up gcc-3.2.2-ebuild
and try to emerge say kde, emerge wants to install gcc-3.2.1-r6 again.
Any ways to solve this? |

3.2.1-r6 is the latest stable version as of now. That's why it keeps wanting to give you that. You can wait, you can pin the version in your world file, or you can ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~arch". _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |
