|
|
I undated kmplayer to the lastest version (masked version) with..
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS='~x86' emerge kmplayer
I think that the dependencies included baselayout, although I was not pay attention during the update. I can no longer boot into gentoo, it just stops. The boot process starts to complain about /proc not being mounted and /var not be mounted writable.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I have been using my knoppix cd get critical data.
thanks for any help

Do you have any config files that need to be updated? Mount your /etc dir, then run find /etc -iname '._cfg????_*'. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |
