Salve,

ho un vecchio pc dove ho tirato su una Gentoo in modalità testuale.
Ora mi sono messo ad emergere Apache e Php, ma ho visto che dev-php/mod_php-4.3.11 dipende tra le varie cose da x11-base/xorg-x11-6.8.2-r1, x11-terms/xterm-200-r1, x11-libs/qt-3.3.4-r3..

come' è possibile??

Come posso dirgli che non erga niente che fa parte del sistema grafico?

ps: tempo fa avevo letto qualcosa del genere qua sul forum ma non riesco più a trovarlo.. :(

Parti guardando l'output di:
Code:
emerge -uDtpv mod_php

dopo, leggi con attenzione il tutto e cerchi (con intelligenza) le USE flag che possono influenzare i risultati.

Ad esempio nello specifico vedo che mod_php ha come use qt e freetype che potrebbero essere importanti.

non ho capito una cosa, quindi emergere qt e Xorg per i truetypes è importante?

Secondo me hai nella USE troppe cose che dipendono evidentemente da X. Ad es. gnome, kde, motif, qt.

Prova a toglierle e vedi se va.....

Naturalmente ogni flag USE ha una sua impostazione predefinita. Se non specificata nel make.conf viene impostato tale valore.

Allora inizia ad aggiungere: "-gnome -kde -qt -motif -gtk -gtk2" e guarda se il risultato é di tuo gradimento...
