hallo
ich habe fbsplash und das theme emergence (leider noch nicht das livecd 2005.0 theme) nach der der gentoo anleitung installiert und es funktioniert!
Nun habe ich leider nur das Problem, dass der Framebuffer erst zum Schluss des Bootens aktiviert wird. Da ist dann ja schon alles vorbei. Aber dann funktioniert er richtig. Meine Frage ist, kann ich das irgendwie ändern, so dass es früher gestartet wird?

startet fbsplash erst wenn init schon läuft ? dh. nach startscripten wie net.eth0 ?
Wenn dem so ist, dann würde ich mal vermuten, dass fbsplash bei dir erst durch das rc-script splash gestartet wird.
hast du evt. die kernel-parameter in lilo/grub nicht richtig gesetzt ? |

habt ihr wahrscheinlich den framebuffer treiber als modul kompiliert?
ev. seht ihr euch vesafb-tng an.

Nee ist bei mir fest im Kernel. Der vesafb-tng funktioniert nicht bei mir. Ich kann ja schon hohe Auflösung fahren und sehe auch 2 Pingiune am Anfang. Halt nur nicht den Splash.

hab mich exakt an http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_fbsplash gehalten und es funktioniert (zumindestens beim booten, beim runterfahren macht der xserver irgendwie dumm) |

Hat mal das gleiche Problem. Habe aber auch ein Problem momentan damit. Kommt in einen extra threat von mir!!!
