I use Galeon. You should probably add that as an option as it's much different than Mozilla.
By different I mean better. KA-ZING! |

you have to login to take part in a poll - "guest" would either have only one vote or manipulate the results

Mozilla - it may start slow, but the features it packs are important. Password remembering and tabbed browsing are key.
This is more of a topic for the Off the Wall section. |

I use to use Mozilla. I've been using Galeon, and I find very minor differences. Eventually, I will probably switch back to Mozilla because ebuilds seem to appear more quickly for it. I can't vote twice, so I'm witholding my vote. |

I'm a big fan of Evolution for e-mail. I use to use sylpheed, but Evolution's vfolders and automagic PGP are the big deciding factors.
I've never tried mozilla for mail - I'm not a huge fan of a browser/e-mail/irc/news/kitchen-sink combonation.
I think I'm going to have to give galeon a whirl, though. Hopefully it won't turn out like fluxbox :( |

Opera is an option, but galeon is not? Now why do I suspect that there are more galeon users than opera users...?
edit: Oh, I remember why. It's because opera is an aggravating piece of shit that feels out of place no matter what your preferred desktop is (gnome, kde, xfce, etc.) and is chock full of advertising badness which galeon lacks. Silly me, wonder how I could have forgotten. Oh, never mind. I forgot because I don't use that pay-or-be-naggedware. _________________ Hey um, this is my signature. |

| If you don't need e-mail or page editing, just a plain old browser, then Galeon is the greatest. It themes with gnome properly, feels fast and clean, and has good features. |

Hey, that's not fair!!
You added Galeon as an option, but there is no way to change one's vote... My vote is (incorrectly) in "Other", now...

| It has to be Mozilla. The work those guys have done is great and it seems to be the only thing to steal the dreaded Microsoft IE's thunder. Mind you I haven't tried Galeon in a while though I was impressed with it the last time I did. But Galeon is based entirely on Mozilla's Gecko rendering engine anyway, yes? Also, Opera is worthy of mention for its stability and sheer speed - yes, it's commercial but it's still a nice piece of work (better than them not doing a *nix version). Konqueror has a good engine, but as of 3.0 the stability seems questionable. |

Konqueror... because it's the most W3C recommendation compliant web browser I've ever seen.
Even MSIE can't better interpret CSS2 than Konqi.

| Well, when I voted before, I voted for Opera (I have a paid for version,so no ads for me). I decided to try Galeon since it got so many recommendations (I already have Mozilla), and I really like it. It is everything good about Mozilla with less bloat. I just need basic browsing functionality anyway. Thanks for the insight on a great browser! |

| I like Konqueror. It has alot of options that the others just don't have. You can open a run box from with in it. There is the split view option which makes it so that you have two browser windows side by side or one on top of the other. There is midnight commander option, all kinds of stuff and its fast. As fast if not faster than the others as far as I can tell. I like mozilla but it doesn't quite make the cut. Never tried galeon but will so that I can see what all the fuss is about. |
