LiveCD that can resize reiser4 partitions, Is there such a beast ?

Bonus points will be given if the cd is based on gentoo :)

Unfortunately, there is currently no resize function for Reiser4.

but there is talk that you can enlarge your reiser4 filesystem if it's smaller than the (new) partition. so if you just increase the size of the partition and run fsck.reiser4 with the proper arguments the filesystem will be stretched to fit the partition. It's probably not safe though and I didn't try it myself.

Not what I've been looking for (I need to donwsize it) but nice to know never the less.
How do you do it ? I assume it's not the regular dd magic, is it?
A refrence would be nice.

No it's not , it's an inconvenience that can be overcome by a bit of planning and not creating usuitably large partitions.

I have 13 partitions of various fs types and none have been resized.

I dont see that as a reason for not trying R4 if you want to.
