Hello!

I'm emerging kde-3.1 with emerge -u world, and in my case it also requires upgrading gnomemm-1.2.2-r3 to gnomemm-1.2.3-r1. It does not compile.

This is what I get when trying to upgrade gnomemm separately after unsuccesful emerge -u world (which stopped after gnomemm compiling):

Code:
bash-2.05b# emerge -u gnomemm
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) gnome-extra/gnomemm-1.2.3-r1 to /
>>> md5 ;-) gnomemm-1.2.3.tar.gz
>>> Unpacking source...
>>> Unpacking gnomemm-1.2.3.tar.gz
>>> Source unpacked.

This was my solution when compiling KDE 3.1:

/etc/make.conf
USE="-gnome ..."
