我按照doc中的方法根本就无法让打印机打字？

# touch test.txt
# echo "Hello World" > test.txt
# cat test.txt > /dev/usb/lp0

这些指令输入后，打印没有反应，保持沉默。
在foomatic的数据库中没有找到适合的ppd文件，我的乒乓的文件是在LinuxPrinting.org下的
但在http://127.0.0.1:631/printers没有找到打印机。
不知道这是什么原因？
