I just got gentoo installed on my laptop and everything seems to be working well except one thing. When I finish booting I have to manually run cardmgr -f to find my wireless network card. Once I run that my network connection is fine.
How do I set cardmgr to run on boot?
Thanks |

Add the pcmcia script to the default runlevel typing: Code: | # rc-update add pcmcia default |

Thanks for the reply. I just started compiling KDE 3.1 so it's going to be a bit before I can restart and see if it works. |

Yep, that did it! Thanks again for the help. I knew it had to be fairly simple but I just wasn't finding an answer anywhere. |
