Olá pessoal,

Estou tentando instalar a mesa "Genius Wizardpen 5x4 Tablet" e estou tento problemas.

Segui os passos do tutorial http://www.stud.fit.vutbr.cz/~xhorak28/index.php?page=WizardPen

1) Recompilei meu kernel (2.6.11-gentoo-r5) com as configurações:

2) Baixei o arquivo wizardpen-driver-0.0.2.tar.gz , descompactei e movi a pasta para:

3) Executei:

4) Alterei meu arquivo xorg.conf para:

*** Não uso "udev".

5) Pesquisei o "/dev/input"

6) Já experimentei alterar a linha "/dev/input/event0" para "/dev/input/event1", "/dev/input/event2", "/dev/input/event3" e "/dev/input/mice".

Bagunça teclado ou mouse, ou simplesmente não abre o X.

Acho que posso descartar problemas de USB porque coloquei um teclado USB em paralelo ao PS/2 e os dois funcionaram perfeitamente.

Alguém já passou por algo parecido? O que poderia estar errado?

agradeço qualquer ajuda.

Esqueci de citar que esta mesa Wizardpen está funcionando no Windows 2000 que só está instalado por causa dela :cry:

Quando vc liga o computador ele reconhece sua mesa? Faz o comando dmesg > boot.txt e veja se tem reporta algum erro.
Eu sei que tem um pacote que habilita o comando 'lsusb'. Não sei qual pacote, mas se vc souber, poderia instalar e tentar listar os dispositivos usb reconhecidos.

Já ví alguns posts falando deste comando lsusb mas não encontrei o pacote que instala ele.
