Horde and IMAP Sent Folder [SOLVED]

Hi All,

I have recently followed the Q-Mail How-To and setup a mail server with Webmail/Hord.

Everything is working fine, I can send and receive email, I can login to Hord and do lots of fn things, but one thing that I cant do is find a Sent folder.

In Horde, i tick the box that says save a copy of the email to the Sent folder (when sending an emil), and everything goes through ok, but I cant find a sent folder. If i try to create one on the same level as the Inbox, i get an error telling me that it is not a valid folder name.

Am i missing something somewhere? do i need to create the sent folder using some other program?

I am using virtual users and virtual domains. Basicially the whole of the q-mail how-to i followed and used it all.

Any help would be much appreciated!.

I have the same problem over here. What IMAP server are you using?

I followed the guide to a T so everything that the guide has I have.

Qmail, Corier, Vpopmail, etc....

Anyone know how to fix this or get the sent items folder??

Ok I have found the solution to the problem I was having.

It seems that it is up to the client to allow you to create folders in specific areas, and the problem I was having was that I could not create a folder on the same level as INBOX (namely Sent-mail).

I said that I had followed the guide to the T, well i missed out 1 dot (.)

In the section where you set up IMP for Horde, it has this listing:

I had left off the . after INBOX in namespace. After i put this dot in everything worked fine.

I hoep that this helps someone else.
