Searching for rc.xml

Hello,

one thing just happened to me which I found strange, but probably have an easy explanation.

I am trying to configure openbox for my taste (btw, anyone have good info on that topic? The documentation is not that complete) and thought I'd make a search for the file rc.xml which is the configuration file name. I searched both in "Quick Search" and in the Search and found no hits. But, I am certain the filename shows up in both subjects and posts in gentoo forums. See for example

I did a search for xorg.conf (in case there was something the matter with dots in search word), but the engine seems to find lots of those.

Why can't it find rc.xml?

dots are turned into spaces when searching. You can use google (site:forums.gentoo.org <searchterm>) if you have to search for a filename or path or anything else containing special characters.

Moved to dups in favour of Gentoo forum search sucks.
