Last year it was something like "portage goes RPM" joke, IIRC. This one was even better :)

Well, I hope at least Bugtrack remains serious today :)

I think it's an interesting idea, but I'll hold off an trying it until xorg is included, if it ever is.

Ignorant windows-stability jokes aside, I'm really eager to see how solid this is.

Edit: I just realized what day it is.... I was taken in completely :/ *note to self: don't use the internet before the morning coffee consumption....*

"emerge tinynt-logger" - LOL

Bless'em - they do take the trouble though ! Screenshots, installation docs. Plus I guess they used www.gentooexperimental.org *just incase* it got slash-dotted, and won't take the main sight down with it.

Absolutely. Right on.

You know, I wish I could say that I used Windows Me for four years and had nary a problem.

But instead, I'll have to admit that I just used it for four years.

. . .XP? What's that? ;)

Anyone heard if GeNToo will support the cool "dark purple on black" color scheme? :D

The project page looks authentic though.:?
It would be interesting to run an NT kernel, but I think I'd rather opt to run Gentoo/*BSD when it's more mature 8)

"Ah, the old Purple Screen Of Death"

Maybe you changed an IP address without rebooting on that GeNToo box?

hahaha, that screenshot is hilarious...

April Fools day, I'm always prepared like a week in advance. I called up my boss this morning and told him I quit and that I called Microsoft to rat him out on all his pirated copies of windows and called the suppliers and ordered $10,000 in usbkeys.

He didn't say anything, and then I busted out laughing.

Why not one that combines all the previous great Window$ ver.

We take Win CE + Win ME + Win NT the combined result should fly like CEMENT.
