Yes, it exists now. Actually it's still Gimp, but it looks exactly like Photoshop now. I found the article on SlashDot ( http://developers.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/03/31/231227&tid=152&tid=156 ). After following the links, I could download the source code at plasticbugs.com ( http://plasticbugs.com/index.php?p=241 ). Seems that guy is still looking for people to compile the source on other distro's. So, let's join in. It compiled perfectly on my Gentoo box (Seems time for an ebuild then). I haven't checked how these sources interfer with the real Gimp (They probably will), but I guess the Gimp fans can write an ebuild pretty quickly. Just letting you guys know it exists _________________ Brave Cobra

I've built this and it works great
TIP: If you want to keep your GIMP install it to something like /opt/gimpshop (--prefix=/opt/gimpshop). Now make yourself a script called gimpshop and it's contents should be something like this:
| Code: | #!/bin/bash
GIMP2_DIRECTORY=/home/myname/.gimpshop /opt/gimpshop/bin/gimp
|
That'll let you have both giimp and gimpshop (and you can place the menurc from that site in .gimpshop now
Works great here, though I keep on hitting Gimp shortcuts lol
