When I emerge amarok, musicbrainz fails:

BUMP!! I'm I the only person with amd64 who can't emerge this? I want amarok to work :cry:

I'm getting exactly the same error on a fresh 2005.0 amd64 stage1 install, I really want to use amarok :(

Both musicbrainz-2.1.1 and amarok-1.2.3 emerged fine for me on my AMD64 machine.

Can you post your emerge info?

EDIT: take '-fvisibility-inlines-hidden' out of your CXXFLAGS and musicbrainz emerges without any problems :)

I've encounterd 3 packages (aspell, musicbrainz and arts) that have all returned the same -fPIC error so I just filed some bugreports. The following is my 'emerge --info'
