Hi *,
I've just installed 2004.3 on a G4/400 PowerBook and changed to 2005.0 after the installation. I have the default settings in /etc/make.conf
USE="hardened pam"
If I emerge vim now, I'll get an:
cp -r ../runtime/macros/* /var/tmp/portage/vim-core-6.3-r4/image//usr/share/vim/vim63/macros
cp: stack smashing attack in function copy_internal()
make *** [installmacros] Aborted
This happens with other packages too.
I have gcc 3.4.3.20041125 (Gentoo Hardened Linux 3.4.3-r1, ssp-3.4.3-0, pie-8.7.7)
Any hints?
Thx,
