|
|
I have a sun blade 150 UltraSPARC-IIe 650Mhz with OpenBoot 4.6. When booting the live CD the system echos Booting Linux
and never progress. This happens on the 2004.3 and 2004.1. (Debian doesnt do any better.) I have installed both Solaris 9 and 10 with out any problems. SPARCS are new to me so I can be missing something very obvious.
There are no errors it just sits there telling me its booting Linux
Any help would be appreciated. |

Try the 2005.0 CDs, they've considerably more chance of working on the *50 kit. |

Thanks,
I am struggling through the install now. My problem was resolved when I pulled all the unnecessary peripherals out of the system. The SUN video card (3Dlabs Wildcat) seems to be creating the issue. With the on board ATI all is well. |
