I have cedega and I would like to use games that are installed to my NTFS hard drive. I use captive to write and read from it in linux (emerge captive). Since it has read and write support, can I run my windows games off the NTFS hard drive with cedega, or does the partition have to be FAT32? I'm new to cedega, and so far I have had to install all of my games in linux to my resierfs partition. Its not fun to have CS Source on windows and linux (So much wasted space). _________________ in the immortal words of Socrates, "I drank WHAT!?!" |

There should be no problem with using it that way. Be warned that accessing a captive partition *will* be significantly slower than a Reiser or Linux-NTFS partition. |

Will it be slow enough that it will drastically hurt my FPS?
EDIT: If so, is there a way to convert NTFS to FAT32 (just as there is a non-destructive way to convert FAT32 to NTFS)? _________________ in the immortal words of Socrates, "I drank WHAT!?!" |
