Currently I pay $NZ39.95 (about $US20) for my 56K dialup connection... Sounds high but i never get an engaged signal or kicked off after a long session....
Currently ADSL in New Zealand sucks major big time Telecom (the national carrier) charges;
128K $49.95 per month
"Full Speed" 500M ownload limit $69.00 per month
"Full Speed" 1G Download limit $89.00 per month
Rip off if you ask me, I mean what good is 128k? 1G would be gone in a couple of weeks...
Regards
Tim

I pay for about 45 for a poor ADSL 256kb/128k (down/up), downloading at 27 kb/s. Telefónica (alias Timofónica) REALLY sucks. Spain is different... |

Something around $40 for ADSL with 1MBit/256kBit, no limit trafficwise, I only get disconnected twice a day. But that's ok, as the company's service is perfect (maybe I should just say: the best I've ever seen )

Little less than $30/month for 1Mbit down and 128kbit up cable (student price) in Slovenia.
Friendly policy (dont download too much), but so far I could get away with something like 30Gigs/month. |

I'm using Comcast cable modem service in Central Arkansas (Little Rock, actually).
I didn't realize how lucky i am.
I pay $50/month (US) for 1.5mbit down, 128kbit up.
As far as i know, there are no download limits. I didn't notice anything about it in the paperwork i signed.
I get one dynamic IP, but the IP stays until the cable modem itself is turned off, so i've had the same ip for a few months now.

btw - my actual downlaod speed is about 200kbytes/s.. upload is around 30kbytes/s. |

Connected to the Swedish University Network (a.k.a Sunet). Our intranet is based on 100 MBit ethernet and the link from the University to Sunet is said to be a 10 Gbit connection. Best of it is; I'm not paying a dime for it!
I'm not complaining... |
