I'm probably stupid for asking this since I can't seem to find anywhere on how to do it.. but how in the hell do you install a UT2004 mod? For example Red Orchestra I just unzipped in my /opt/ut2004 folder.. this created a RedOrchestra folder and added a file to KarmaData or whatever. but when i start ut2004 with ut2004 -mod=redorchestra I don't get the red orchestra menu and I can't join any games (gives me a version mismatch). Same with UTXMP but I get the menu in there.. but still the version mismatch (I'm updated to the last patch too). What is the proper way to install a UT2004 mod? |

ut2004 -mod=RedOrchestra, it has to be the same case as the case of the folder it extracted. |

What about the mistmatches I'm getting with XMP-Garden for UTXMP? I updated to the 1a patch and the servers listed ar 1a servers. |

also even using the same case does not work. I still get the regular UT2004 menu. |

I fixed it with a Code: | chmod -R 755 /opt/ut2004/RedOrchestra
rm -rf ~/.ut2004/redorchestra |
