What are the ranking levels for the amount of posts?

I'm still a n00b, how long before I become something else?

You can look here for all of them, but you need 75 posts to become a 'Tux's lil' helper'

a better question would be:

do you still concider yourself a Gentoo noob?

a good test would be to do a baselayout upgrade (and a few other system packages) and let etc-update do a "-5" to all the config files

IF you can get your system back up and running without doing a fresh installation, then you are one step beyond a n00b

oh btw dont do that above - alot of pain

You're talking about Linux in general.
Anybody with enough experience not to use etc-update is no longer a n00b...
