XLogical! This game needs an e-build! You could add the much better graphics as a USE flag (maybe call it gfx?) and the colorblind images as well.

There's a remake of xjump called sdljump with multiplayer and theming support.

http://sdljump.sourceforge.net/

I'd make an ebuild myself but I don't know how.

I'll take a look when I get home, but I'm still new to writing ebuilds.

Erhm, Wurm Online for the first, is NOT free. (Though, a free "mode" is there.) And wouldn't it just be dumb(?) to create a ebuild for a java webstart game that's updated pretty often? And we can't really see a point in creating one..except:
Quote:
11:33 < chrys> only reason could be to download the start-files and create a
batchfile like this:
11:33 < chrys> "/opt/sun-jdk-1.4.2.10/jre/javaws/javaws
http://www.wurmonline.com/client/wurmclient.jnlp"
11:33 < chrys> -start-files +java-files

and on another note:
Quote:
11:36 < chrys> but the "download start files" has another lil problem... one
needs to download them manually, freaking sun rulez

Or are we nuts? =)

wow. Thanks a lot. I didn't expect an ebuild yet 8)

Other 2 that I think that could be nice to have and that have not been posted yet :

Reminiscence. A rewrite of the engine used in the game Flashback from Delphine Software. :
http://membres.lycos.fr/cyxdown/reminiscence/

Raw. A rewrite of the engine used in the game Another World/Out of this World:

Ken's Labyrinth:
http://advsys.net/ken/klab.htm (old sdl port)
Enhanced version : http://www.jspenguin.org/lab3d_sdl/ (the games does look pretty nice with the high res textures ;-))

This was a Wolfenstein 3D clone published by Epic Megagames that was ported to modern operating systems thanks to the SDL. The game was open sourced a while ago.The data files of the full game (registered version) are also free and can be downloaded from the 1st site I've posted ;-)

Edit: I have tried the clonekeen's ebuild and works on a gentoo for amd64. Thanks 8)

cheers
