When trying to respond to this post:
https://forums.gentoo.org/posting.php?mode=reply&t=344131
I get a screenful of garbage characters. Then if I try to read anyother post, I get the same. I close firefox, reopen, try to post to a different thread - no problem.
Strange! Thought I'd let you know. Maybe it's a virus or something.

No problem. Never done that on a forum before. You want me to copy and paste the characters? All of them? Or take a screenshot and post that? How would I do that? - the posting of a graphics file that is. |

If you do screenshot , you have to put this picture somewhere on the net and give us adress to it. If you dont have such place, you can post it to me and I will "share" it.

Before viewing that post, Western (ISO-8559-1). After I click on the link, it has changed to Unicode (UTF-16 Little Endian). Swiched it back to Western, and it displayed fine. Closed firefox, went back and tried again and it didn't switch it. Strange. Any ideas what would cause that? |
