Witam.
Chcialbym sobie uzywac splashscreena pod konsola (tak jak to bylo w gentoo-sources-2.4), jednak w configu kernela brak jakichkolwiek opcji do tego ;/. Mam ck-sources-2.6.10-r5. Nie widze, ani (dla fbsplash):

Device Drivers -->
    Graphics support -->
        [*] Support for the framebuffer splash (NEW)


ani (dla bootsplasha)

Code:

 Device Drivers  --->
     Block devices  --->
     Graphics support  --->
         Bootsplash configuration  --->
         [*] Bootup splash screen


Na 2.4 uzywalem bootsplasha (widnialy w configu odpowiednie opcje). W tym HOWTO jest napisane cos takiego:

And as of 2.6.11 rc 1, the developers threw bootsplash back into the scene. No more fbsplash.


Nie za bardzo rozumiem. Tzn, ze mam uzywac fbsplasha, tzn. powinien byc dostepny, tak? A moze w ck w ogolnie nie "splashy" a powyzsze sie tyczy gentoo-dev-sources? Czy ktos kto ma ck uzywam jakies "splasha" pod konsola i nie patchowal dodatkowo zrodel?

w CK nie ma fb(gen/boot)splasha

trzeba sobie spatchowac.

fb(gen)splash jest w gentoo-dev-sources i w wiekszosci patchsetow na forum w dziale k&h.
