It seems when qmail calls the tcpserver program, the program is unable to run due to a memory allocation problem. However, I'm positive I don't have a hardware memory problem. What would be the easiest method of fixing this error.
Here is the exact error message from the '/var/log/qmail/qmail-smtpd/current' log file:
Quote: | @400000003e19b691116b9264 /usr/bin/tcpserver: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: failed to map segment from shared object: Connot allocate memory |
Any feedback or further information about this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx in advance,
The Doctor |

That would be answered here. Well, not exactly, but just exchange qmail-pop3d in that thread with qmail-smtpd for your case: Increase the resources in /service/qmail-smtpd/run.
