8O

It seems when qmail calls the tcpserver program, the program is unable to run due to a memory allocation problem. However, I'm positive I don't have a hardware memory problem. What would be the easiest method of fixing this error.

Here is the exact error message from the '/var/log/qmail/qmail-smtpd/current' log file:

Quote:
@400000003e19b691116b9264 /usr/bin/tcpserver: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: failed to map segment from shared object: Connot allocate memory

Any feedback or further information about this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx in advance,

The Doctor

That would be answered here. Well, not exactly, but just exchange qmail-pop3d in that thread with qmail-smtpd for your case: Increase the resources in /service/qmail-smtpd/run. :-)

Hth,
Larde.
