Hello all,
Just trying again to get my Ultra2 going with linux again...starting install. I downloaded stage1 from the Indiana mirror. I got the md5sum too. When I did: md5sum -c stage1-x86-2004.3.tar.bz2.md5
It gave the error:
md5sum: stage1-x86-2004.3.tar.bz2.md5: no properly formatted MD5 checksum lines found.
Is this something to worry about? Has the site been hacked???

I just downloaded and tested the stage1 file from Indiana University and it tested fine...

I don't understand....I deleted both files...downloaded again...and got same error.

Geez...I feel like a complete idiot...I was running it on the .bz2 file...not the md5 file....and just was using the 'history' to keep running the command over and over....wrongly!!
Sorry for acting a fool.....just thought I'd found a possibly hacked file and wanted to alert ya'll....
