I am having problems booting my new 2.6 kernel. For some reason Xorg is bombing out and freezing my keyboard and screen.
I was wondering how you would boot to single user mode from the openprom prompt.
OK boot disk ....... |

I haven't tried it recently, but at the silo prompt try:
linux single (with linux being the entry in silo.conf that is normally selected to boot)
at the open boot, just type boot (or whatever you normally do to boot. |
