Salve,
ho un pc con 2 schede di rete, una realtek integrata e l'altra 3com pci, una è eth0 e l'altra eth1. Come faccio da console a capire se eth0 è 3com o Realtek?

Se quella integrata viene vista comunque come pci, dovrebbe bastare un

Altrimenti ottieni le info dai messaggi del kernel

non visualizza niente.
I comandi lspci ed ether non li ho presenti nel sistema , quale pacchetto devo compilare per averli?

ether non e' un comando... 
Solo che la maggiorparte delle schede di rete hanno nel loro nome riconosciuto dal sistema la scritta ethernet, quindi con il comando

si greppa da lspci i nomi di tutte le schede che comprendono la scritta ether.
ps: se per caso ether non riporta niente, e' meglio provare con ther
