I've been trying to install some program, but they all fail rather
spectacularly with variations of this error-message:

=>(...)k/magick_libMagick_la-token.lo magick/magick_libMagick_la-transform.lo magick/magick_libMagick_la-type.lo magick/magick_libMagick_la-utility.lo
=>magick/magick_libMagick_la-version.lo magick/magick_libMagick_la-widget.lo magick/magick_libMagick_la-xwindow.lo
=>-ltiff -lfreetype -ljpeg -lXext -lSM -lICE -lX11 -lXt -lbz2 -lz -lpthread -lm -lpthread ltdl/libltdl.la
=>grep: /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.4/libstdc++.la: No such file or directory
=>/bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.4/libstdc++.la: No such file or directory
=>libtool: link: `/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.4/libstdc++.la' is not a valid libtool archive
=>make[1]: *** [magick/libMagick.la] Error 1

All of the failed packages complains about 'libstdc++.la', and a peek
showed that I didn't have any 'libstdc++.la' at all under
`/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.4'.

So, what should I do?
Should I just make a symbolic-link with this name in that location?
If so, where sould it be linked from?
Must I emerge some extra package? Which?
Must I edit the ebuild file of some package I've already installed -- or
set some enviromental-variable -- and emerge an existing package again?

Any help will be greatly appriciated, as I've been battling
this for a week.

This should fix it:

# fix_libtool_files.sh 3.3.4
