Best mod of all time to me will be the neon lights on SPARCs. Simple, but big.

LOL, I wish I could find the link to the wacky mods that PCGamer had. One PC actually had a coffee maker built in. Another was a whacky skull. This one takes that cake if it can be driven. Throw a kill saw on it and send it into battle on Battle Bots :D

This guy has a work log going at the forums at www.pheaton.com. He's into hotrods, and modified his computer in that style. (Actually, I'd love that cube case, but ~$350 8O )

It's not exactly to my taste, but he has done very good work on it.

I too am part of the modding community, and have 3 computer cases here all awaiting modification, one halfway done already with an intricate done-by-hand dragon cutout. Nothing on the level that some of the Pheaton members have done, but deffinately not a boring regular case ;)

Some are good, some are bad, but it's just another level of customizing your PC to fit your tastes, although a bit more extreme than changing your wallpaper ;)

My casemod is a handle from IKEA I put on top of it, now my "laptop" goes everywhere with me ;-) Seriously, it's just handy because I'm into organising lanparty's, but I don't study at home. So I take my case with me on the train. I have a second monitor at home. Off course, this baby weighs a ton, at least it feels like that when you walked around with it for half an hour, so I don't take it home every weekend ;-) Just when it's lanparty time :-) My mom made a black leather cover to go over it to protect it from rain / prying eyes. I'm considering putting "My #1st laptop" on it in white fabric :-)

I saw that coffee maker case mod. My dad's favorite saying about expensive things came to mind when I saw it;

For that price, it'd better make my coffee too!

.... :)
