Hi.

I just emerged cdrtools now. When I run "cdrecord -scanbus" , it says that there ain't any /dev/pg* devices. I thought that the SCSI-emulated cd drives were /dev/sg* and /dev/sr*. Am I wrong? BTW I'm using devfsd with the new device names.

I have 1 CD-ROM (hda, scsi-emulated), 1 DVD (hdb) and 1 CD-RW (hdc, scsi-emulated).

Can you help me?

Have you looked at the extensive thread on the subject in Doc, Tips'n'Tricks?
Note that with cdrtools-2.0 you don't actually need to use SCSI emulation anymore - perhaps you would care to try it out if you continue to have problems.
