Everything used to be fine with emerging stuff however, recently I have been getting this error everytime I try to emerge something:

>>> /etc/ld.so.preload file write: No space left on device

Sometimes, it even does this:

OSError: [Errno 28] No space left on device: '/var/temp/portage/gaim-0.58r1/temp'

Why would it do that to me?

Are you out of disk space? Does 'df' return a disk up into the 99 - 100% range?
