Emerge in powerprefs - It depends on pbbuttonsd so that will have to be running for it to work.

once you get pbbuttonsd installed, you'll want to laak at the 'notap' option.
I hate the tap on the trackpad...I always found myself clicking when I was trying to drag. |

yeah, it's all better now the problem was that I didnt actually read the whole config file to know that was there, and my sound device wasnt working properly so pbbuttons didnt load right. So far things are running pretty well. _________________ I like the cool shiny thing. |

my problem is a total opposite. how do i enable the tapping feature for the laptop? --thinkpad t41.
i searched all over gentoo, but I decided to ask my question in PPC section.
they should be pretty similar on this setup/issue, aren't they?
Please help. Thanks. |

Hmm, I don't think that you can compare IBM Thinkpads with Apple-Hardware. They have nothing in common.
Try out the synaptics driver for X http://w1.894.telia.com/~u89404340/touchpad/, the ThinkPad T41 is listed in the compatibility list. |
