*Newbie question alert!* How do I unmask an ebuild?

Search on the forum man! Read Portage User Guide!

Edit /usr/portage/packages(I think)/packages.mask and _comment_ (by putting # in the beggining of the line) the packages you want to unmask!

i did a search and couldnt find anything, i found the answer on the irc channel, however unmasking the package turns out not to be the best way to sort my problem..

My problem is with gtk+2.0.9 emerge failing with:

I had installed pango beforehand.

I think i should create a new post for this unless someone can help here..

nah, i tried that just ended up doing the same thing... in the end i just poped in the old ~x86 to the accept_keywords and installed the newest versions of glib, gtk+2 and pango.. xchat 1.9.7 looks amazing and phoenix is building right now
