which pci ide controller on sparc

how good is ide support on sparc64 platform?

to be precise, which pci ide (standard udma-133, sata, raid) controllers are known to be working in sparc pci-based platforms (for exp, e250 with kernel 2.6.9-r10) ?

Well, most raid controllers have the array initialized by the firmware on the card which is usually x86.
