I accidently unmerged sys-apps/acl.
Now when I run programs which have file IO like:
ls, emerge, cp, etc.
I get the following error:
error while loading shared libraries: libacl.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
How can I solve this?
BTW, I can't simply emerge acl because emerge gives the same error

Boot off from the LiveCD, mount partitions, chroot and emerge it |

however, if he chroot, wont it want to use his local lib's and emerge command and thus the same problem?
might have to extract a stage3 version of it then upgrade _________________

Well, I reemerged 'coreutils' without the 'acl' USE flag because I don't think I need it on my laptop. |
