|
|
Everytime I look at bugs.gentoo.org I see a lot of bugs that are just new .ebuild .
Now why don't you give out limited CVS access to people who fell like/want to
help with this task ?
I hope you got it , I'm not good at explaining things, even less when I have to do
in a lang that is not the one I "usally" speak
Cheers |

i dont know about giving out opening up cvs access, but i think it would be cool to have a site (possibly as part of the forums?) where people could post ebuilds that they had written. |

Yeah that would be cool, a kind of bugzilla system just for ebuilds .... |

just make sure to put up lots of warnings that the ebuilds havent been officially tested by the gentoo team, and may do what you want or nothing at all... (or worse ) |

Well, of course users who apply to handle those ebuilds will have to be "approved" (can't think of another word in english to say that) by the people in the gentoo staff.
I'd like to hear from someone in the actual gentoo team. |
