|
|
Well gtk+ 2.6 has been out for quite a while now so I thought I would search bugzilla for a ebuild or some infomtion
has some Gentoo ebuild dev had attack of the power-crazies
There have been loads of closing bug request due to duplicate bug???
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75691
This ok is a duplicate bug as 74683
So...
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=74683
Now there seems to be what is perceved as bug spamming. 1st so called bug-spam to do with gkt+2.6 is: Bug 74686
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=74686
But this is to do with glib 2.6 with a circular duplicate bug referencing 74683
Errr since when is glib2.6 the same as gtk+2.6
next in the list
Bug 74687
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=74687
But this is to do with Pango 2.6 with a circular duplicate bug reference to, you guessed it. 74683
Errr since when is pango2.6 the same as gtk+2.6???
next in list
is a bug that mentions glib2.6, pango2.6 and gkt+2.6 so ok duplicate bug request
then a few more duplicate bug request.
The point is the parent bug request is now a circular bug request to a closed bug request due to bug request spamming. Thus it seems that there is no longer a open bug request for
gtk+2.6
pango2.6
glib2.6
any reason how the system broke down?
how is gtk+2.6 a duplicate bug request for _________________ A free press is the unsleeping guardian of every other right that free men prize; it is the most dangerous foe of tyranny. As a suggestion, you could post an abbreviated version of your post here to the appropriate bugs. i.e., the pango bug, and then to the circular dependecy bug. _________________ lolgov. 'cause where we're going, you don't have civil liberties.
