Buenas.
Tengo un problemilla montando sistemas de ficheros vfat con cualquier kernel de la rama 2.6.9.
El error que me devuelve es el típico:

En el último de la rama 2.6.7 monta /dev/hdc8 sin problemas, al igual que la cámara de fotos como /dev/sda1 (ambas son vfat).
En su momento copié el .configure del directorio donde tenía el kernel 2.6.7 al del 2.6.9 y compilé directamente. De eso ya hace tiempo y he ido modificando la configuración del kernel, pero sin llegar nunca a poder montar vfat.
Ni que decir tiene que tengo activado en el kernel el tipo de ficheros vfat:

¿Ha cambiado algo las opciones del kernel de la 2.6.7 a la 2.6.9 para montar vfat?
¿Se me esta olvidando algo?

ahora que me fijo.... no tienes el directorio en mnt 
a mi alguna vez me dio problemas... pero lo podia montar desde consola..

Si, desde del kernel 2.6.6 o 2.6.7 para poder montar vfat debes tener algo asi en :

Gracias por responder.
Tenía todos activados menos NLS UTF8. Lo he activado, he vuelto a compilar
el kernel, reinicio con el nuevo pero sigue igual.
