yritin kääntää uudestaan firefoxin ja pangon, ei auttanut 
olisiko jollain hajua missä mättää?

revdep antoi vastaukseksi binääripakettien lisäksi tunepimpin, jonka käänsin.
ongelma ei vain valitettavasti ratkennut tälläkään

hmm, juu. ongelma hävisi kun kääntelin aikani glibejä, atk:ta, pkg-configia yms. emerge -evp:n näyttämiä paketteja uusiksi.
