Can you give a little more information? Are you using the touchpad (I'm assuming..)? Can you post your XF86Config file snippets of Keyboard and Mouse sections? _________________ open like a child's mind. |

I was trying both the touchpad and a usb mouse. I am not all too familiar with this, but know a little bit. Below are the snippets of my xf86config file.
Thanks for any help you can give - driving me a bit crazy
Section "inputDevice"
identifier "Keyboard1"
Driver "keyboard"
Option "autoRepeat" "500 30"
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Mouse1"
Driver "Mouse"
I left the commented stuff out - if you need anything else, let me know. |

Found the following in the documentation - I am trying a USB mouse for an option - along with a touchpad. I enabled USB support in my kernel, but do i still need the the modules listed below? I try to do an insmod on them and says no module by that name found.
The first thing that has to be done is the installation of the kernel modules. The modules that will be needed for a USB mouse to work are usbmouse, mousedev, hid, usbcore, usb-uhci, and input. After the necessary kernel configuration is done, insmod the modules. |
