According to www.linuxprinting.org, the hl7x0 printer driver should be included in ghostscript distributions > 5.5 (http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=62528). But its not
At least not in the gentoo distribution. I also installed the gimp-print-cups package, but there's no hl7x0 driver with that package either. Why isn't it included? (in fact, I checked devs.mak and couldn't find any user contributed driver). Is Gentoo using a different gs distribution? |

| Ran into this topic again by accident. The solution has presented itself in the form of a new release for ghostscript (ESP Ghostscript 7.05.5 (2002-09-02)). The hl7x0 driver is present there. |
