Hey guys!

Recently upgraded to Gentoo 1.4rc from 1.2, now have gcc 3.2.1 and binutils 2.13.90.0.16 using the four-script-process described in the upgrade guide. It all seems to work fine. Does this mean I can now safely remove gcc 2.95.3-r7 and binutils 2.11.92.0.12.3-r2 (dammit that's a long version number!)? Is there any reason for leaving them around?

I did emerge gcc-compat as well, though I'm not sure what purpose it serves anymore.

Martin
