I recently blew my 5.1 surround sound [not dolby digital.. just analog]. It was 75 watts [ran off my PC's sound card, un-amplified]. I put on my old 25watt 2.1 speakers, and although they suffice, they are not good enough. I want something badass, something I can be proud of, something to rattle the windows of my neighbor's homes. I was thinking of maybe a lower end home theater in a box, type deal. Since, I have my PC and my Dish Reciever that I would like surround sound from. I want to know what you guys think is the best "budget" HTIB. I have a strict $200 budget, and eBay is probably the only way I would be able to afford it. It needs to have speakers [of course] and it needs to have wild bass!

Do you live in the USA?
If so, run to a Circuit City, and they always have pretty good systems on sale. Plus, their 'no questions asked' return policy rocks
Try it out, return it if you don't like it.
For PC speakers, I recommend the Klipsch 4.1's (or 4.2) |

Yep, live in the US. I should check that out.
I was thinking of integrating my PC to the home theater, so I can have all my systems have speakers, without having 3 speaker sets on my desk. I would just need a converter, from the PC out to A/V type shit.

| Good idea. It is nice to be able to watch dvds/listen to music on one nice system. |
