|
|
I would like to know:
How do I set restrictions for a user. I dont want them to be able to exit their home catalog. So if "userA" is in his /home/userA catalog and opens a shell, in which he writes: cd ..
i want to deny this. How can this be done?
I have looked for a detailed explanation, but somehow I have missed this?
Thanx in advance. _________________ Best Regards

Sounds like 'jail' to me. Do a search in this forum for 'jail', which is a chroot-ed environment for each user... _________________ Linux user off and on since circa 1995 |
