Hi,

I was etc-updating, and I probably did something wrong since no /etc/init.d scripts wants to launch during boot.
Of course I can't log in.

Has anyone an idea of what could have happened or how to solve it?
When I start in single mode, I can't do a /etc/init.d/net.eth0 start, for example. It tells me it needs an argument (start, stop, restart...). It's like if it doesn't see the argument I give. Could this be some bash problem?

Is it possible to re-install only the basics needed for those scripts to work?

Thanks very much,

nico.
