Probably the most amusing sigs I've seen is a while are:
"I played a blacnk tape last night at full blast. It drove the mime next door nuts."

and...

Place endlessly profound quote here.

My favourite sig:
Quote:
Capitalism is the exploitation of man by man. Communism is the reverse.

Hint to understanding this: reverse != opposite

Still don't get it? Well, the reverse of "man by man" (i.e. read the words backwards) is "man by man". So capitalism and communism are no different from each other!

I study international relations at university, so I've always found that quote to be very clever. Hitler and Stalin may have claimed to be total opposites of one another, but in the end they were both murderous, brutal dictators. I love how that quote neatly slices through all that political rhetoric.

One of my favorites:

Windows: a 32 bit GUI shell to a 16 bit patch to an 8 bit operating system originally coded for a 4 bit architecture by a 2 bit company that can't stand 1 bit of competition.

I've never used it, though, since it's in the Jargon File so a lot of people have seen it already.

I'm also partial to .sigs with weird little programs in them

What can I say about my sig? Well, it's pretty long; I certainly hope that's not too annoying...

I love TheCoops' microsoft/hitler sig

"One World, One web, One program" - Microsoft Promo ad.
"Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer" - Adolf Hitler

Cracks me up and is disturbingly accurate.
